The Product

Plane offers a feature-rich interface that allows you to track your progress in lists, kanban or calendar views. It adapts to your workflow and allows you to customize issue states and types.

Plane promises to support agile methods as well as waterfall and custom workflows. Sprints in Plane are supported via a feature called Cycles which allows you to specify a time period for completing backlog items, according to its priorization. Modules allow grouping of different issues which are related to each other and should be finished in a specific time frame.

Plane also offers various types of reporting and insights via burn-down charts, estimates and scopes.

Integrations

Plane integrates with third-party tools like Slack and Github to keep your team up to date with recent events and important notifications. It also allows to cross-sync issues from Github to keep everything up to date.

Plane is built with modern web technologies and is available as a self-hosted solution or as a cloud service.
